Inner Space
Intstallation Proposal for B&T Design, Istanbul, 2024
Inner Space is grounded in the idea of “queering” the boundaries between digital and physical environments. In this context, it expands the perception of physical space through digital possibilities, subjecting the existing condition to transformation and critique. The hybridization of the physical and the virtual not only alters how we perceive space, but also transforms objects and space itself. The digital environments created by the artist in virtual settings come together around a structure, aiming to imagine space beyond its anticipated limits and thereby extend physical reality. The folding of the virtual and the digital onto one another releases the potential for differentiation inherent in matter.
